Welcome to the users of the Barbados Stock Exchange website.
We have launched a demo website which has some new features with all of the old features as well.
We aim to keep upgrading to serve both the investing public and our business partners better, and to this end, we seek your input as we start out on this path.
This site is for visitors to leave their impressions and/or suggestions about our new website. Please be frank and direct as we strive to make the Barbados Stock Exchange and the Barbados Central Securities Depository Inc a more web-friendly organisation. We look forward to your advice and thank you for your time.
Please use the comments link to post your comments as well as to review those comments left by other users.
We invite you to comment….
where do I find the “INDICES & MARKET CAPITALISATION” report on the new site?
I have had a “sneak peek” at the new website and would like to say this is a significant improvement and gives investors a better grasp of the listings on the exchange.
Kind regards,
Michael Foster
The site looks nice but when I go to market news the most recent article is from January in the first section and March in the second. That is not news. I think that if you really want to attract repeat visitors to the site the news category needs to be up to date with new articles on a daily basis. Anyway, I’ll keep checking back to see if this improves in the future. Good luck!
This new website is welcomed and opportuned. I am impressed with the information which will be available via the website. This will do well for when the CXN comes on stream. My concern though is will I be able to access my BCSDI statements online. I am also very much interested in the company news and financials which I am hoping will be available via the website.
Congratulations!
I hope that these are not in vain.
The various sites have been void of CURRENT information for many years…
Looking forward to a new begining from you….
Congratulations on the new web site, which seems to be an effective combination of visually appealing and functional. It would be most useful if some basic information could be provided, such as your trading hours, holidays, and any scheduled early closing times.
Best wishes, S.C. Quirk
I cannot find the Mutual Funds reports on the new site.
I think that the new site is a great inprovemnet from the current site. It is very helpful to new comers to the site and those would like to get started in investments.
In the old site, I was able to highlight only the NAV column and copy the NAV values directly into excel. In the new site when I cannot highlight only the NAV colum. When I try this in the new site I get the entire report and have then to parse out the values I need.
